Section information text: Nurse educators must have advanced mastery of health assessment, advanced knowledge of pathophysiology and drug therapy that relate to the nursing care of patient groups across the lifespan. This course builds on previous knowledge by integrating the advanced concepts of pathophysiological processes, pharmacology and advanced health assessment skills as a foundation for advanced nursing practice that lead to positive patient care outcomes. Students apply the knowledge gained to specific real-world clinical cases.
