Section information text: This course builds upon prior knowledge and skills of collecting patient data related to the assessment of individuals and population health status. Through innovative experiences, students apply concepts of health and physical assessments for patients across the lifespan. Areas of focus include social determinants of health and health equity. Students develop an integrated person-centered approach to health, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritually sensitive care.
