Section information text: "This course is designed to provide the pediatric advanced practice nursing student with specialized knowledge needed for outpatient pediatric care of children from birth to young adulthood. There is also emphasis on pediatric illnesses commonly seen in the primary care office setting as well as evidence-based approaches to diagnosis and pediatric disease management. (Prerequisite(s): NURS 6501, NURS 6512, NURS 6521, NURS 6800, and NURS 6052)."
