Walden University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Section information text: In this didactic course, Adult–Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) students advance their knowledge and clinical expertise in providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to adolescent, adult, and older adult populations across the lifespan. The course prepares learners to deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered care that aligns with current clinical guidelines and best practices in high-acuity settings. Course Sequence Policy: Must be the second NRNP (didactic) course. Cannot be taken concurrently with any other NRNP (didactic) or PRAC (practicum) course, except for the corresponding PRAC (practicum) 6557 course. Prerequisite(s): NRNP 6537
