Section information text: Current cloud-based web applications have allowed both novices and professional web designers to focus more on form and function rather than getting bogged down in coding that is necessary for both. This two-credit course is an introduction to utilizing these new apps to create beautiful websites while applying classic concepts of website layout, color, texture, typography and imagery. As a culminating learning experience, students will select a topic of personal interest to build a simple but elegant website.
