Section information text: Instructional designers are faced with the challenge of promoting equity and ethics in education and training. In this course, students will examine instructional approaches and strategies that address diversity and accessibility for diverse student populations, the ethical use of materials and resources, and the legal implications of copyright, fair use, and licensing when designing learning materials. They will also explore opportunities to promote positive social change in the design and development of learning activities and embrace the role of a principled, knowledgeable, and ethical scholar-practitioner.
