Section information text: Great improvements in medicine, public health, science, and technology enable todays older adults to live healthier, longer lives. This course will explore theories and practices for providing services to older adults who remain independent and vibrant members of their families and communities. You will delve into models of aging in place, including ways of assessing health, social and economic needs, and identifying and prioritizing options in physical, mental, emotional and intellectual health promotion activities and programs.
