Section information text: This course introduces the theories and principles of health policy and systems thinking in the context of public health. Students explore the policy making, legal and healthcare systems of the United States, with comparisons to other countries. Students engage in a variety of practical assignments that develop skills essential to governance, management, collaboration, decision-making, negotiation, mediation, and advocacy.
