Section information text: The Capstone is the final course in the M.S. Health Education and Promotion program. Through the completion of a Capstone project, students are provided an opportunity to synthesize knowledge and skills acquired throughout the entire course of study. The M.S. Health Education and Promotion Capstone project is designed to empower students with the skills necessary to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge, applied professional development, and scientific research in the planning of a health education program. The Capstone course will also address the Certified Health Education Specialist’s Seven Areas of Responsibility through targeted assessments and opportunity for reflection.
