Catalog description

Section information text: Technology leaders require a deep understanding of foundational theories and models in the field of educational technology. In this course, doctoral students will explore the influence of foundational theories and models and how they can be used to describe, study, and improve education in relation to technology use. Aligned with ISTE Educator Standards, this course will equip doctoral students with the knowledge to critically analyze and examine these models in context of contemporary educational challenges. Through reflective inquiry and practical application, participants will develop the skills to evaluate and enhance educational practices. Note: The Main Issue and ultimately the Problem of Practice that you select must be aligned to your degree specialization. For example: If you are in the Early Childhood Education specialization, the Main Issue and the Problem of Practice for your capstone must focus on that educational specialization.
