Catalog description

Section information text: The Education Doctorate requires learners to make an original contribution to the field of education. The purpose of this course is to help learners begin that process by introducing them to the steps and components of the doctoral capstone, its timeline, and available resources. Learners will examine and analyze existing research to identify a problem statement, and begin to conceptualize a purpose statement, the conceptual or theoretical framework, and other key components necessary to create valid research. Learners will also explore resources, such as the Writing Center and Library, as well as specific tools they can use to complete the capstone.
