Section information text: This course will provide students with a deep dive into scholarly literature around leadership in healthcare services organizations. Students will examine organizational and leadership theories and frameworks and will explore topics related to leadership roles, styles, and challenges, relational leadership, administrative ethics, team-based conflict resolution, and change initiatives. By the end of the course, students will have developed skills to enhance organizational effectiveness and promote innovation to include diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and positive social change within healthcare services organizations. Threaded throughout the course are elements of the integrative review process which will be used in the capstone phase of the program.
