Section information text: This course explores the application of empirically supported treatment and interventions to client problems ranging from problems in living to severe mental disorders in selected populations. Students demonstrate the implementation of intervention models including cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, short-term dynamic psychotherapy, and integrative psychotherapy. Culturally competent interventions are emphasized within an ethical framework for clinical or clinical practice.
