Section information text: This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of crisis management and crisis leadership principles and models, strategies, and tactics. In addition, students will demonstrate an understanding of the theories and principles of practice related to crisis, disasters, and other trauma causing events and the ethical and legal considerations in crisis and trauma response. At the end of this course, students will know models for training and supporting other counselors the area of crisis response for community, national, and international crises.
