Section information text: Students in this course are introduced to the professional dispositions associated with the School of Counseling. Students work toward building a foundation for academic and professional success as scholar-practitioners and social change agents through the lens of these professional dispositions. Students engage in discussions and course assignments focused on the practical application of these dispositions, while practicing their professional writing, critical-thinking skills, and the promotion of professional and academic excellence as they relate to counselor educators and supervisors. Students also verify their completion of program orienting materials and begin to plan on how to include and improve the dispositions throughout their educational and professional careers.
