Section information text: Effective oral and written communication skills are in high demand by employers. This course offers students the opportunity to focus on the skills needed for successful business performance and relationships. Students receive training in meeting management; virtual conferencing; working in virtual teams; and strategic visual representation of relationships and data for target audiences, including spreadsheets, business letters, memos, and other forms of print and electronic communication. Students also work toward gaining insight into their ability to communicate, to manage conflict, and to be culturally competent in the workplace.
