Section information text: This course introduces students to communication theory and research on persuasion and negotiation. Through the application of theory, this course seeks to help students become more informed, critical senders and receivers of persuasive messages in their professional and everyday lives. Students explore the skills to plan, design and deliver persuasive oral and written messages, while learning to identify and resist undesirable propaganda efforts.
