Section information text: In this course, students explore the core concepts, practices, and strategic importance of modern supply chain operations, with a focus on how organizations source, manage, and move goods in an increasingly complex global environment. Through real-world-aligned assignments, they will build upon their foundational understanding of topics such as procurement, logistics, inventory management, quality measurement, and risk mitigation. They will also consider the numerous factors impacting organizational efficiency and customer service operations, including economic changes, regulatory demands, transportation, storage decisions, and major trends influencing today’s supply chains. Upon successful completion of the course, students have the opportunity to earn a workplace certificate in supply chain management basics.
