Section information text: In this course, students focus on the ideas and activities related to developing and communicating strategic plans within nonprofit organizations. Specific topics include establishing a mission and vision for an organization, developing a strategic plan, communicating and implementing the plan, and measuring results. Through real-world-focused assignments, students will explore the tools and strategies that can help them develop effective strategic plans that strengthen organizational impact and sustainability. Upon successful completion of the course, students have the opportunity to earn a workplace certificate in nonprofit leadership strategic planning.
