Section information text: This course provides an introduction to the principles and practices involved in managing nonprofit organizations. Students will explore topics such as volunteer development, marketing and social media, strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, and leadership in mission-driven contexts. Through real-world-focused assignments, students will examine the unique challenges and opportunities within the nonprofit sector and develop practical skills for effective organizational management. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to earn a workplace certificate in nonprofit management.
