Section information text: Entrepreneurs envision opportunities and take action, and nowhere is this more evident than in the business world. In this course, students examine what it takes not only to start a new business venture but also how to use their knowledge of business functions to grow their initial idea into a successful enterprise over time. Through their assignments, students assume the role of an entrepreneur and build a plan for a real-world business concept. They have the opportunity to earn a workplace certificate in entrepreneurship upon successful completion of the course.
