Section information text: Data drives decision making in organizations every day. Data is used to inform initiatives, evaluate projects, and spark change on both small and large scales. In this course, students explore how to analyze and leverage quantitative data in a workplace context. Specifically, they take on the role of a data science consultant who must apply their skills to solve a challenge for a fictional organization. Students have the opportunity to earn a micro-credential in data science upon successful completion of the course.
