Section information text: Students will survey fundamental biological principles and be introduced to the scientific method of investigative questioning in order to understand the world in which we live. Discussions and assignments emphasize cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and diversity. Students completing this course should have an increased appreciation for how focused questioning and testing theories leads to a better understanding of our individual responsibilities navigating the world.
