Catalog description
Section information text: Students in this course are introduced to the fundamentals of photography as a medium of expression and communication. Students are required to have simple digital cameras, such as those on mobile phones, to take and produce photographs. Topics include principles of design such as emotion, line, plane, space, color, light, value, texture, proportion, and scale. Upon completion, students will be able to communicate ideas and experiences through photography, edit a portfolio of photographs, and participate in an online exhibition of images.
