Reading, Grammar, and Listening III

Catalog description

This course provides reading, listening, and study strategies for non-native English speakers at the intermediate level needed for academic curriculum programs. Emphasis is placed on building vocabulary and cultural knowledge, improving comprehension, identifying intermediate grammatical structures, and developing study strategies on basic college-level materials including literary works. Upon completion, students should be able to read, listen to, and comprehend narrative and expository content, and recognize grammatical structures.
