Capstone Experience

Catalog description

This clinical capstone provides students with the opportunity to integrate clinical and theoretical learning from previous nursing courses into sound clinical decision-making that supports interprofessional communication and quality health outcomes. Students will integrate the professional nursing role into holistic, person-centered care, using evidence-informed interventions, while accounting for diverse experiences and systemic challenges. They will also complete a structured NCLEX preparation component to support licensure and entry into practice. Prerequisite: 526, 528. Must be taken concurrently with 584.
