Expand on foundational nursing knowledge, attitudes, and skills to the integrate and apply evolving disciplinary knowledge and ways of knowing with a foundation in liberal arts. A central component includes the interpersonal and interprofessional communication skills needed to be effective in providing high-quality, individualized holistic nursing care. Concepts of information literacy are developed to critically analyze levels of evidence in scholarly literature to make informed decisions for quality and safe care based on best practice. Prerequisite: ENGL 103. IL. IFCR Bachelor Completion.
