229 This course develops therapeutic communication skills to support inclusive, equitable, and person-centered care across diverse populations. Students will explore and apply written, verbal, nonverbal, and active listening techniques to build healing and collaborative relationships with patients, families, and members of the interprofessional team. Emphasis is placed on using evidence-based strategies to foster collaboration and create supportive care environments. Prerequisites: 201, 222, 342, BIOL 296. OC
