Applied Vocal Coaching

227 The course is comprised each week of a half-period vocal coaching session with a faculty coach-accompanist and a half-period of collaborative work in the students applied voice lesson. Vocal coaching will address the style, musical markings, tempo, language, phrasing, and interpretation of the applied lesson repertoire. Students registered for one credit of MUVO 371 must register concurrently for one credit of MUVO 372. Restricted to music majors. Restricted to students with junior and senior standing. May be repeated for credit.
