Music Appreciation

Catalog description

Designed for the general student, the course aims to enhance the student's understanding and enjoyment of music through a survey of Western and non-western musical styles. Activities include: assigned readings, listening, interactive class discussions, guest performers, and video presentations. Students are required to give class presentations on assigned topics and attend a minimum of two concerts during the semester in which the class is taken. AE
