Catalog description
This course focuses on the concepts and applications of trigonometry. The primary goal is to prepare students for their calculus course. Topics covered include the basics of the trigonometric functions and their graphs and applications, trigonometric identities and equations, the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines, vectors, complex numbers, conic sections, parametric equations and polar coordinates. Prerequisite: acceptable placement score or grade of C or higher in 111 or 112. QL
