Catalog description

This course examines the internal motivation for global citizenship. Neuroscience has demonstrated that social emotional learning is necessary to understanding and acting on inequalities and promoting empathy towards others in a global context. One's motivation towards enacting change and understanding of others is examined through an epistemological and social emotional learning development lens. Students will also learn how systems thinking is needed to understand the complex nature of global challenges and relationships. Restricted to students in the bachelor completion programs.
