Catalog description
The purpose of the course is to enhance the counseling skills and conceptualization processes acquired through direct counseling experience, supervision, and classroom interaction. The application of counseling theory and techniques will occur with clients in a campus or community setting in preparing supervisees for internship and their development as independent professional counselors. Restricted to students admitted to practicum sequence. Prerequisites: 675, 640 or concurrent enrollment with practicum/internship coordinator permission. Permission of instructor required.
