Curriculum and Instruction in Elementary Classrooms.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. Enrollment is restricted to students enrolled in the RTR program or provisionally licensed teachers. The course is designed to support students to understand and use developmentally appropriate instructional methods to teach today’s diverse students. The course will explore multiple curriculum models as well as Virginia’s Standards of Learning and the Early Learning and Development Standards as the foundation for making strong and informed instructional decisions.
