Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. The course is all about experimentation and about imagining and building towards new and uncharted futures. There is no question that the world is teetering at the edge of crisis – from planetary ecological destabilization to ever-increasing economic inequality, to the persistence of racially motivated and state-sanctioned violence. And as new as this may feel at times (How many times do people talk about things being “unprecedented” with regard to COVID or climate change?) the world has been an unfolding crisis for many people – in many times and many places.
