Catalog description
Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. Prerequisite: SETI 420 or by permission of the instructor. Conducted in Spanish and English. Exposes students to more advanced interpreting skills in all three modes of interpretation -- simultaneous, consecutive and sight translation -- introducing a more focused vocabulary for the legal, medical, business and educational fields that regularly use interpreters.
