Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. The course explores how to communicate about public health to nonacademic audiences. Students will learn strategic public health communication principles for designing messages to effectively communicate the impact and mission of public health, build support for public health issues and advocate for health equity.
