Counseling Theories and Personality.

Catalog description

Semester course; 2 lecture and/or seminar hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 2 credits. Enrollment is restricted to graduate students, by permission of the instructor. Overview of major trends in personality theory, techniques and current research in psychotherapies as they apply to counseling psychology. Includes descriptions of some brief psychoeducation and preventive interventions and stresses accountability in outcome of all interventions.
