Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credit hours. Enrollment is restricted to D.D.S. students. Presented to second-year dental students during the summer semester. The course will expand on concepts, principles and techniques required to diagnose, plan, treat edentulous and partially edentulous patients with complete and partial dentures. The course is designed to prepare students to apply their removable prosthodontic knowledge and skill in the clinical setting. Focuses on the diagnosis and treatment planning aspects of clinical care.
