Preclinical Complete Dentures Lab.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 laboratory hours. 1 credit. Enrollment restricted to D.D.S. students. A preclinical laboratory course in removable complete dentures. The course presents the basic information, which is a prerequisite for understanding clinical and laboratory procedures, and the diagnosis and treatment planning of patients requiring CDs. The information presented in the course is necessary to complete the dental curriculum, treat patients who require CDs and to be a knowledgeable dentist. Successful completion of the course is required before students are allowed to treat patients requiring removable prostheses.
