Preclinical Complete Dentures Lecture.

Catalog description

Semester course; 1 lecture hour. 1 credit. Enrollment restricted to students in the D.D.S. program. A preclinical didactic course in removable complete dentures. The course presents the basic information, which is a prerequisite for understanding the clinical and laboratory procedures and the diagnosis and treatment planning of patients requiring CDs. The information presented in the course is necessary to complete the dental curriculum, treat patients who require CDs and to be a knowledgeable dentist. Successful completion of the course is required before students are allowed to treat patients requiring removable prostheses.
