Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Prerequisite: PHYS 208 . Introduces students to topics in computational physics and computational tools used for data analysis. The course teaches basic skills in programming in the context of applying them to biophysics-related problems. It is assumed that students have no computer programming experience, but have a modest understanding of physical systems.
