Catalog description

Semester course; 12 clinic hours (480 clinical contact hours). 12 credits. Enrollment is restricted to GR level students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Twelve-week full-time clinical experience designed to allow the student to develop entry-level competence in physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques. Includes the use of sound scientific rationale and problem-solving skills in all aspects of patient care. Promotes the development of an independent professional through synthesis and utilization of advanced academic theory in evaluation and treatment. Graded as pass/fail.
