Semester course; 1 lecture hour. 1 credit. Enrollment is restricted to students in the professional Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Provides an advanced review of the concepts and principles of the research process and evidence-based practice. Focuses on skills needed to perform a critical appraisal of professional literature and to determine the relevance and applicability of research findings to a specific patient or series of patients. Provides opportunity to develop oral patient case presentation skills.
