Semester course; 1 lecture and 3 studio hours. 3 credits. Prerequisite: PHTO 280 . Introduces strategies for developing, shooting and editing various types of documentary and nonfiction media including, but not limited to, the electronic essay, biography/portraiture, ethnographic film and new genres. Covers key historical moments and ethical issues related to the representation of the real world.
