Semester course; 1 lecture and 3 studio hours. 3 credits. Prerequisites: PHTO 243 and PHTO 281 . Introduces controlled lighting for still photography in the studio. Students use continuous light sources and professional grade strobe equipment to explore tabletop and portraiture photography through lectures and studio assignments. Emphasizes professional standards, technical proficiency and individual artistic expression.
