Semester course; 2 lecture hours. 2 credits. Prerequisite: PHAR 523 with a minimum grade of B. Enrollment is restricted by approval of the course coordinators. The course is for second- and third-year Doctor of Pharmacy students interested in exploring or pursuing a career in academia. Students will learn the structure of academia, types of research, teaching methods and core concepts of academia through weekly two-hour didactic instruction. Graded as pass/fall/honors.
