Clinical Rotation in Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine - Year 3.

Continuous course; 40 clinic hours. 1 credit. Enrollment restricted to third-year dental students. Five days of clinic rotation. The course provides students with an introductory, observational and participatory experience in the evaluation and management of patients with temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain, oral medicine and oral pathologic conditions. Students will assist fourth-year students and faculty in clinical encounters, enhancing their foundational understanding through guided observation and hands-on support under close supervision. Emphasis will be placed on interprofessional collaboration and evidence-based care. Graded as CO in the fall and pass/fail in the spring.
