Oral Pathology.

Continuous course; 4 lecture hours. 4 credits. A problem-solving/critical-thinking experience emphasizing the more common oral abnormalities. The soft tissue and osseous pathologic entities will be discussed individually as well as within differential diagnosis cluster. By the end of the course the student should, when presented with an abnormality, be able to establish a differential diagnosis, discuss the salient features and present a logical sequential approach to discovering the final diagnosis and management. Course renders a CO grade in the fall and a letter grade in the spring.
