Catalog description

Semester course; 3 seminar hours (delivered online or face-to-face). 3 credits. Students will examine the current status of disability representation in television, movies and popular press and will analyze and evaluate this representation with current disability knowledge. Students will explore the changing disability experience and examine how disability in the media affects disability representation at the individual and societal level.
